About the Heritage-Patrimoine Award
Each year, we recognize one outstanding residential property and one exemplary business that demonstrate a significant commitment to maintaining, preserving, and celebrating Cornwall's heritage. These awards aim to:

Acknowledge the hard work and dedication of property owners who go above and beyond in preserving heritage features.
Raise Awareness
Highlight the importance of heritage conservation within the community.
Inspire Others
Encourage other property owners to appreciate and care for Cornwall's unique architectural and historical legacy.
Who Can Be Nominated?
We encourage nominations for properties within the City of Cornwall that showcase exceptional heritage value. This includes:

Residential Properties: Homes that retain significant original architectural features, demonstrate sensitive renovations respecting their heritage character, and contribute positively to the heritage streetscape.

Businesses: Commercial properties that have preserved significant architectural elements, integrated heritage into their business identity, and contribute to the historical character of their location.

You can nominate a property if:

You are a resident of Cornwall.

You are familiar with the property and its heritage significance.
